Egon Müller has discovered the potential of wines in the Château Béla area. He makes his dry Riesling within the scope of a joint venture with the Ullmann family, the owners of the Château Bela. With it, he wishes to challenge the best Rieslings from Austria and the Alsace region.
While the 2003 wine was rather mighty due to the hot year, the 2004 wine comes very close to Egon Müller’s ideal wine. The 2006 wine continues along the qualitative lines of its predecessor, and – although still very young – is already very harmonious. An expressive, very personal Riesling, which is fascinatingly tantalising and enduring, but at the same time very refined, with finesse and elegance.
